At La Maison Amsterdam, we work with high-quality hair weaves made from 100% natural human hair. They offer a beautiful and natural way to add length, volume and fullness to your hair.
The hair weaves are carefully integrated into your natural hair using a specialised technique. No glue or other chemicals are used during the application. The attachment is subtle and comfortable, allowing the hair weaves to blend seamlessly with your own hair.
Once applied, you can wash, care for and style your hair just as you normally would. As your natural hair continues to grow, the hair weaves will need to be moved up and repositioned over time.
With the right care, the hair weaves can be reused several times, allowing you to enjoy a full, natural and beautifully maintained hairstyle for longer.

1. Intake/consultation
One of our hair extension professionals will assess your options and advise you on the type, quantity, and length. This advice is based on your preferences, hair type, hair length, and hair volume.
2. Choose your extensions
Depending on our professional's advice and your own preference, you choose the type of attachment to be used. Will you opt for the braiding technique or micro-rings?
3. Installing extensions
Our professional applies the extensions using the chosen technique. Depending on your preferences, the extensions can provide added length, volume, or both.
4. Perfect finish
For the most natural-looking result, the hair extensions can be treated just like your own hair; for instance, they can be cut or colored along with your natural hair during a balayage or highlight service.
5. Care/Maintenance
As your hair grows, the extensions gradually move down with it. Come in every 6–8 weeks to have the extensions repositioned higher up and, if desired, to get a fresh "perfect finish."

A minimum length is required for applying hair extensions. The hair needs to fall at least past the ears to ensure the extensions can be applied effectively and invisibly. We will recommend the attachment method and the number of extensions based on your current hair length.
Hair thickness
Hair thickness is a key factor in choosing the right attachment method. Taking your preferences into account, we determine which method will yield the best results and how many extensions are needed.
Hair condition
We also assess the condition of your natural hair during the consultation. Your hair must be in good condition for extensions to be applied. We will recommend the attachment method and the number of extensions based on the condition of your hair.

Both methods are perfect for healthy hair extensions and use neither heat nor glue for attachment. The extensions can remain in your hair for 6 to 8 weeks, making them effective methods for long-term, daily wear.

La Maison uses unique Extensielle micro-rings. These are 55% smaller than standard micro-rings and virtually invisible. Thanks to a unique protective, anti-slip coating, the rings and extensions stay securely in place without ever damaging the hair. This unique concept guarantees 100% that there will be absolutely no damage to your natural hair.
Braiding technique
Having extensions applied using the braiding technique is a popular method. A small braid is created on the scalp, and the extension weave is attached to it. Depending on the hair's thickness, two or three braids are placed on the head, and the extensions are attached to them.
